The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in ServiceNow development.\n\nThe role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to our ServiceNow instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and business processes.\n\nThis position is based in our Hyderabad location, and we follow a hybrid work policy.\n\nWhat Will You Do In This Role\n\n5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including work in modules such as HAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM Discovery, and Service Catalog.\nProven experience in designing and implementing integrations, Service Graph connectors, automation workflows, and custom scoped applications.\nExperience in OTM, SAM with exposure to ServiceNow mobile applications and performance optimisation is highly desirable.\n\nRequired Skills \n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nProficient in JavaScript and familiarity with Python for automation tasks and good advance working knowledge in API integration, REST/SOAP web services, and data exchange mechanisms.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator\nCertified Application Developer.\nConfiguration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals\nAt least a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, CSM or Discovery.\n\nPreferred Skills \n\nDeep understanding of ETL mapping, transformation maps, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules.\nExperience in Agile methodologies and leading development sprints.\n\nWhat Should You Have\n\n Solution Architecture & Design \nLead technical design sessions and define scalable architecture for ServiceNow solutions.\nTranslate complex business requirements into robust technical designs.\nResearch and evaluate available ServiceNow technologies that align with customer specifications.\n Development & Customisation \nBuild, configure, and optimise ServiceNow applications and workflows.\nDevelop custom applications and advanced automation scripts to meet unique business needs.\n Technical Communication \nPresent technical solutions and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather and validate business and functional requirements in line with governance standards.\n Release & Project Management \nDefine and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables for complex ServiceNow initiatives.\nProvide technical leadership for small to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.\n Governance & Documentation \nMaintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customisations, and integrations.\nEstablish best practices for development, testing, and deployment processes.\n Testing & Quality Assurance \nCollaborate with enterprise architects to design and implement robust ServiceNow solutions.\nOversee configuration, installation, and testing of components, ensuring compliance with design specifications.\n Mentorship & Collaboration \nGuide junior developers and share best practices across the team.\nCollaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.\n Integration and Maintenance \nDefine and implement rigorous testing and validation procedures for all integrations and enhancements\nMonitor platform performance and recommend optimisation strategies.\nStay updated on ServiceNow releases and emerging technologies to introduce innovative solutions.\n\nWho We Are\n\nWe are known as Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, New Jersey, USA in the United States and Canada and MSD everywhere else.
