Infrastructure engineers often work closely with software engineers, IT support teams, and system administrators to optimize performance, mitigate risks, and deliver high-quality services to end-users.\nWhat will you do in this role\nManage the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of specific technology services.\n\nFollow standard approaches and established design patterns to create new designs for systems or system components. Apply agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.\n\nCarry out and also improve system software development and maintenance tasks by updating the product design to automate routine system administration tasks using standard tools and software development practices.\n\nContribute to identification and prioritized adoption of Technology Engineering community practices within the products where you work.\n\nWork within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the Product manager.\n\nParticipate in Product planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with Product goals.\n\nWhat Should you have:\nBachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience working with network and system administration for Linux/Unix and Windows servers.\n\nExperience with traditional disaster recovery & data backup solutions (Commvault, Acronis).\n\nCloud and Virtualization Platforms: Proficiency in virtualization (Vmware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and familiarity with cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) platforms.\n\nNetworking: Understanding of virtual networks, VPNs, and firewalls.\n\nOperating Systems: Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.\n\nScripting and Automation: Skills in scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell and familiarity with infrastructure automation and management tools (Ansible, Terraform).\n\nDevOps practices: Experience with Git, infrastructure as code (IaC), observability, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).\n\nSecurity Best Practices: Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance.\n\nProblem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.\n\nProduct and customer-centric approach.\n\nExperience with other programming languages (Python, Java) is a nice to have.\n\nOur technology teams operate as business partners, proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities.
