This role ensures assets, equipment, parts, and supplies are stored in a clean, safe, sanitary, and organized manner while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control activities.\nThe Asset Management Coordinator utilizes forklifts and other material handling equipment to receive, move, stage, and ship assets and materials. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure assets are properly identified, documented, and available to support business operations while maintaining a clean-as-you-go mindset and adhering to all human and food safety requirements.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nHuman and Food Safety\nPrioritize human and food safety at all times.\nFollow all company food safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP requirements.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.\nDemonstrate a clean-as-you-go approach throughout the workday.\nUtilize proper PPE and safely operate equipment and tools.\nAsset Storage and Organization\nMaintain asset storage areas in a sanitary, organized, and efficient manner.\nFollow and execute equipment sanitation and allergen processes to ensure equipment is stored and maintained to a food-safe standard.\nEnsure equipment, parts, and supplies are properly labeled and stored.\nAssist with asset identification, tagging, and tracking activities.\nSupport periodic audits to verify asset location and condition.\nOrganize inventory locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.\nAsset Movement and Material Handling\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.\nLoad, unload, stage, and transport equipment, parts, and materials.\nCoordinate asset transfers between locations and departments.\nAssist with shipping and receiving activities, including inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing assets.\nWork with freight and trucking companies to obtain quotes, schedule, and coordinate shipments.\nEnsure proper handling practices are followed to prevent damage.\nInventory Control and Documentation\nMaintain accurate inventory and asset records.\nConduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.\nEnter inventory and asset information into company software and tracking systems.\nIdentify inventory discrepancies and communicate concerns promptly.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and asset control.\nAdministrative Support\nUtilize Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and other company systems to communicate and maintain records.\nRespond to requests for asset status, availability, and location information.\nMaintain accurate documentation and filing systems.\nCommunicate effectively with site leadership, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams.\nContinuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve asset organization, inventory accuracy, and workplace efficiency.\nSupport standardization and process improvement initiatives.\nAssist with special projects and department initiatives as assigned.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITY PROFILE\nMinimum Education\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nTechnical, warehouse, inventory, or maintenance-related training preferred.\nMinimum Experience\n1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, asset management, maintenance support, or a related environment preferred.\n1-3 years of experience operating forklifts required.\nManufacturing or food production environment experience preferred.\nMinimum Knowledge / Skills / Abilities\nAbility to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nBasic computer proficiency including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel.\nAbility to accurately maintain records and inventory documentation.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated commitment to cleanliness, organization, and workplace safety.\nPositive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.\nAbility to work effectively with employees across departments and locations.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the workday.\nFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching above shoulder level.\nAbility to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.\nAbility to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment.\nAbility to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.\nAbility to climb ladders, step stools, and access elevated storage areas as needed.\nFrequent use of hands and fingers for operating computers, scanners, tablets, tools, and inventory tracking equipment.\nAbility to visually inspect equipment, labels, asset tags, inventory locations, and documentation while maintaining attention to detail.\nAbility to work in manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance shop, and storage environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and traffic from mobile equipment.\nAbility to work around moving machinery, forklifts, and production equipment while following all safety requirements.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed footwear, and other equipment as required.\nAbility to move throughout the facility and outdoor areas to locate, verify, transport, and audit company assets.\nAbility to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment through continuous housekeeping activities and adherence to a \"clean as you go\" philosophy.\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks associated with inventory management, shipping and receiving, asset tracking, and data entry.\nAbility to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed to meet business demands.\nWorking Conditions\nRegular exposure to warehouse, maintenance, and manufacturing environments.\nFrequent interaction with maintenance, engineering, operations, and supply chain personnel.\nUse of computers and mobile devices for inventory management, asset tracking, communication,
