This role coordinates with Production, Inventory, Shipping, Accounting and Sales teams to manage customer orders, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery while building strong customer relationships.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nCustomer Order Management\nProcess and manage customer orders, validating pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.\nMonitor open orders and communicate order status, shortages, or delays.\nMaintain accurate order information and customer records within company systems.\nCustomer Support & Communication\nServe as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.\nProvide timely updates regarding orders, shipments, and product availability.\nBuild and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and reliable follow-through.\nOther related duties as assigned.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nPartner with Production, Inventory, Shipping, Accounting, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements.\nCommunicate customer priorities and changes to internal stakeholders.\nSupport resolution of issues impacting customer orders and delivery commitments.\nProblem Resolution\nInvestigate and resolve order discrepancies, billing issues, returns, and customer complaints.\nEscalate issues when necessary and ensure timely resolution.\nDocument customer concerns and corrective actions.\nEDI & Systems Support\nSupport EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) order processing and troubleshoot transaction errors.\nEnsure accurate data entry and system integrity across order management platforms.\nAssist with customer onboarding and system-related inquiries as needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE\nMinimum Education\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAssociate's degree preferred.\nMinimum Experience\n2+ years of customer service, order management, account support, or related experience.\nManufacturing, food industry, or supply chain experience preferred.\nExperience with ERP and EDI systems preferred.\nMinimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong customer service and relationship management skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nProficient with Microsoft Office and business systems.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements\nOnsite position based in a professional office environment.\nFrequent use of computers, phones, and other office equipment.\nRegular interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal teams via phone, email, and in person.\nOccasional visits to manufacturing and warehouse areas, requiring adherence to all safety and GMP requirements.\nRequires prolonged periods of sitting, repetitive keyboard use, and ability to move throughout the facility as needed.\nOccasionally lift or carry up to 15 pounds.\nMSI Express is an equal opportunity employer.
