Your experience culminates in a presentation to senior leadership highlighting your results and recommendations.\nWhy Choose MSI Express?\nWork on projects that make an impact\nTackle meaningful business challenges\nEngage with cross-functional teams\nLearn from business leaders\nDevelop leadership skills\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Quality Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:\nQuality System Support: Assist the Quality team in maintaining food safety and quality standards across manufacturing operations.\nInspection & Verification Activities: Participate in product inspections, audits, testing activities, and documentation reviews.\nData Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality performance metrics and support corrective and preventive action initiatives.\nRoot Cause Investigations: Assist in investigating customer complaints, process deviations, and non-conformances.\nContinuous Improvement Projects: Support projects focused on strengthening food safety, quality systems, and operational compliance.\nWhat we look for in a Quality Intern:\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nInterest in food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing systems.\nAbility to analyze data and identify trends.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nCurrently enrolled in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related academic program.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements\nWork is performed in both office and manufacturing plant environments.\nFrequent exposure to production areas with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving machinery, forklifts, and other industrial conditions.\nMust follow all safety requirements and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout manufacturing facilities.\nAbility to climb stairs, ladders, and access elevated platforms as necessary.\nMust be able to occasionally bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and work around equipment during project activities.\nFrequent use of computers and standard office equipment.\nAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\nPeriodic travel may be required to other MSI Express locations and end-of-internship events.\nMSI Express is an equal opportunity employer.
