Your experience culminates in a presentation to senior leadership highlighting your results and recommendations.\nWhy Choose MSI Express?\nWork on projects that make an impact\nTackle meaningful business challenges\nEngage with cross-functional teams\nLearn from business leaders\nDevelop leadership skills\nAbout the Role:\nAs a Supply Chain Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:\nPlanning & Inventory Management: Support demand planning, inventory analysis, and material flow activities.\nProcurement & Supplier Coordination: Assist with purchase order tracking, supplier communication, and inventory replenishment processes.\nData Analytics & Reporting: Analyze supply chain performance metrics and develop recommendations to improve efficiency and service levels.\nWarehouse & Logistics Exposure: Gain visibility into transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.\nProcess Improvement Initiatives: Support projects focused on inventory accuracy, service improvements, and cost optimization.\nWhat we look for in a Supply Chain Intern:\nStrong analytical and quantitative skills.\nInterest in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and operations.\nExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work collaboratively across multiple departments.\nCurrently enrolled in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or a related academic program.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Requirements\nWork is performed in both office and manufacturing plant environments.\nFrequent exposure to production areas with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving machinery, forklifts, and other industrial conditions.\nMust follow all safety requirements and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout manufacturing facilities.\nAbility to climb stairs, ladders, and access elevated platforms as necessary.\nMust be able to occasionally bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and work around equipment during project activities.\nFrequent use of computers and standard office equipment.\nAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\nPeriodic travel may be required to other MSI Express locations and end-of-internship events.\nMSI Express is an equal opportunity employer.
