You will join an experienced and collaborative team that shares knowledge, challenges thinking constructively and supports each other when dealing with more complex or sensitive claims.\nKey Responsibilities\nHandle insurance claims efficiently and professionally from first notification through to settlement.\nReview policy coverage, liability and damages in line with policy terms, internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers, brokers, experts and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.\nManage your own portfolio of claims, ensuring timely follow-up, clear ownership and accurate documentation.\nSupport the resolution of more complex claims, drawing on the knowledge and experience within the wider team when needed.\nAnalyse claim circumstances, identify issues that may affect outcomes and escalate where appropriate.\nApply sound judgement when assessing coverage, liability, damages and settlement options.\nWork collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to find practical and fair solutions.\nEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements.\nMaintain accurate claim records and clear documentation of decisions.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nExperience in claims handling or a related insurance role.\nA genuine interest in developing deeper technical expertise.\nStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail.\nThe confidence to handle complexity, or the ambition to grow into it.\nGood communication and relationship-building skills.\nHigh
