We are looking for a Digital Workplace Engineer to join our IT team and help deliver a secure, reliable and seamless workplace technology experience across the organisation.\nThis is a hands-on, business-facing role combining strong technical expertise with a genuine focus on user experience. You will work across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows 365, endpoint management and collaboration technologies, providing day-to-day support while helping us continuously improve our digital workplace.\nYou will work closely with colleagues across the business, the wider IT function and external technology partners, taking ownership of technical issues and contributing to deployments, automation, service improvements and the ongoing evolution of the employee technology experience.\nEssential requirements\nTo be considered for this role, you will need:\nProfessional fluency in both French and English. This is a mandatory prerequisite for the role.\nIdeally 3 to 5 years' experience within Digital Workplace, End User Computing, Desktop Support, Workplace Technology or a comparable enterprise IT environment.\nStrong hands-on experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.\nPractical experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID, device provisioning and identity/access administration.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems and workplace applications.\nThe confidence to work directly with business users and provide responsive support to senior and business-critical stakeholders.\nPlease note: As the role requires regular communication and support in both languages, candidates must be professionally fluent in both French and English.\nThe role\nAs Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be a key connection point between IT and the business, providing both onsite and remote support while helping to develop and improve our modern workplace environment.\nYou will take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution, support the lifecycle of workplace devices and services, and ensure colleagues have the tools and support they need to work effectively and securely.\nBeyond day-to-day support, you will contribute to technology rollouts, automation, service improvement initiatives and the continued development of our digital employee experience.\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupporting our colleagues\nProvide high-quality onsite and remote support for workplace technology incidents and service requests.\nAct as a trusted IT contact for users, including senior and business-critical stakeholders.\nDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system and application issues.\nSupport Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.\nTake ownership of issues through to resolution, keeping users informed throughout.\nProvide effective user support and communication in both French and English.\nManaging devices and endpoints\nDeploy, configure and maintain Windows 11 devices and workplace technologies.\nSupport Microsoft Intune-managed endpoints and Windows Autopilot deployments.\nManage device onboarding, refresh, replacement and retirement.\nMaintain endpoint security, compliance and configuration standards.\nSupport accurate IT asset and inventory management.\nMicrosoft 365 and collaboration\nSupport Microsoft Teams, collaboration services and meeting-room technologies.\nAssist with user provisioning, access requests and licence administration.\nTroubleshoot Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration services.\nSupport the rollout and adoption of new Microsoft 365 capabilities and workplace technologies.\nSupporting the employee lifecycle\nDeliver a smooth technology onboarding experience for new colleagues.\nPrepare and deploy laptops, devices and workplace equipment.\nSupport internal moves and role changes.\nEnsure leavers are processed securely and in line with asset-management procedures.\nKeeping our workplace connected\nSupport meeting rooms, audiovisual equipment and hybrid collaboration technologies.\nTroubleshoot issues affecting meetings and presentations.\nCarry out routine checks to keep workplace technology operating effectively.\nCoordinate with technology vendors and support partners where required.\nSecurity and continuous improvement\nSupport endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation and workplace security initiatives.\nFollow and help maintain security, operational and service-management standards.\nIdentify recurring issues and develop sustainable solutions.\nAnalyse service trends and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.\nSupport technology pilots, testing and deployments.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, user guidance and knowledge
