You will work with modern Microsoft technologies, solve day-to-day challenges and help continuously improve the way our people interact with workplace technology.\nWorking across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Windows 365, endpoint devices and collaboration technologies, you will play an important role in ensuring our colleagues can work productively and securely, wherever they are.\nThe Role\nAs our Digital Workplace Engineer, you will be a key point of contact between IT and the business, providing both onsite and remote support while helping to develop and improve our modern workplace environment.\nYou will take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution, support the lifecycle of workplace devices and services, and work closely with colleagues across IT, external partners and business stakeholders.\nBeyond day-to-day support, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to technology rollouts, automation, service improvements and the continued evolution of the digital employee experience.\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupporting our colleagues\nProvide high-quality onsite and remote support for workplace technology incidents and service requests.\nAct as a trusted IT contact for users, including responsive support for senior and business-critical stakeholders.\nDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system and application issues.\nSupport Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.\nTake ownership of issues through to resolution and keep users informed throughout.\nManaging devices and endpoints\nDeploy, configure and maintain Windows 11 devices and workplace technologies.\nSupport Microsoft Intune-managed endpoints and Windows Autopilot deployments.\nManage device onboarding, refresh, replacement and retirement.\nMaintain endpoint security, compliance and configuration standards.\nHelp ensure accurate asset and inventory management.\nSupporting Microsoft 365 and collaboration\nSupport Microsoft Teams, collaboration services and meeting-room technologies.\nAssist with user provisioning, access requests and licence administration.\nTroubleshoot Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration services.\nSupport the rollout and adoption of new Microsoft 365 features and workplace technologies.\nSupporting the employee lifecycle\nDeliver a smooth technology onboarding experience for new colleagues.\nPrepare and deploy laptops, devices and workplace equipment.\nSupport internal moves and role changes.\nEnsure leavers are processed securely and in line with asset-management procedures.\nKeeping our workplace connected\nSupport meeting rooms, audiovisual equipment and hybrid collaboration technologies.\nTroubleshoot issues affecting meetings and presentations.\nCarry out routine checks to keep workplace technology running effectively.\nCoordinate with technology vendors and support partners when required.\nSecurity and continuous improvement\nSupport endpoint compliance, vulnerability remediation and workplace security initiatives.\nFollow and help maintain security, operational and service-management standards.\nIdentify recurring issues and help develop longer-term solutions.\nAnalyse service trends and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.\nSupport technology pilots, testing and deployment activities.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, user guidance and knowledge articles.\nWhat we're looking for\nYou will ideally have 3-5 years' experience within Digital Workplace, End User Computing, Desktop Support, Workplace Technology or a similar IT support environment.\nWe are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the business, takes ownership of problems and combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine focus on delivering a great user experience.\nYou'll ideally bring experience with\nWindows 11 support within an enterprise environment.\nMicrosoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.\nMicrosoft Intune and modern endpoint management.\nWindows Autopilot and device provisioning.\nMicrosoft Entra ID, including users, groups and device management.\nWindows 365 Cloud PCs or similar cloud-managed workplace technologies.\nEndpoint security, compliance, patching and configuration standards.\nMeeting-room, audiovisual and hybrid collaboration technologies.\nDevice lifecycle and IT asset management.\nJoiner, Mover and Leaver technology processes.\nITSM platforms and ITIL-aligned Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management processes.\nSupporting users across multiple locations or hybrid working environments.\nWorking with managed service providers, vendors and external technology partners.\nWhat will help you deployment.\nVersion control and structured management of automation scripts.\nCloud-first or Zero Trust environments.\nRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator
