Junior Underwriter Marine (m/w/d)

Kernaufgaben

Als Teil unseres Teams erhältst Du einen umfassenden Einblick in die Welt der Transportversicherung und baust Schritt für Schritt Deine Fachkenntnisse aus.

  • Unterstützung der Underwriter bei der Risikobewertung und Angebotserstellung
  • Prüfung und Bearbeitung von Versicherungsunterlagen und Verträgen
  • Pflege und Aktualisierung von Daten in unseren Systemen
  • Unterstützung bei Angeboten, Vertragsverlängerungen und Nachträgen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Underwriting, Claims und Operations
  • Aufbau von Kenntnissen in der Bewertung von Risiken im internationalen Transport-und Logistikumfeld

Im weiteren Verlauf entwickelst Du Dich in Richtung:

  • Analyse und Bewertung komplexer Risiken
  • Unterstützung bei Underwriting-Entscheidungen
  • Weiterentwicklung zum Underwriter

Dein Profil - Berufserfahrung/Persönlichkeit/Sprachen/Software

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder ein Studium, idealerweise mit Bezug zu Versicherungen, Logistik, Schifffahrt, Außenhandel oder Wirtschaft
  • Erste praktische Erfahrungen durch Ausbildung, Praktika oder Berufstätigkeit im Versicherungs-, Transport-, Logistik- oder Finanzumfeld sind von Vorteil
  • Deutsch auf muttersprachlichem Niveau ist für diese Position zwingend erforderlich.
  • Aufgrund des internationalen Umfelds werden zudem sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift vorausgesetzt.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel
  • Analytisches Denkvermögen und Interesse an wirtschaftlichen Zusammenhängen sowie der Bewertung von Risiken
  • Strukturierte, sorgfältige und eigenverantwortliche ArbeitsweiseHohe Lernbereitschaft, Eigeninitiative und Teamfähigkeit
