Through meaningful hands-on experiences and consistent daily routines, children begin building the confidence and independence that will support them throughout their early childhood years.\nWe are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher to work collaboratively with our Lead Guide and teaching team to support daily classroom activities, children's development, and the overall classroom experience.\nWhat You'll Do:\nWork collaboratively with the Lead Guide and teaching team to support daily classroom activities and Montessori learning experiences.\nAssist with individual and small-group activities that encourage independence, language development, curiosity, and confidence.\nSupervise and support children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, transitions, and daily routines.\nSupport toileting, diapering, handwashing, dressing, and other personal care routines with patience, respect, and encouragement.\nHelp children develop emotional regulation, positive social interactions, and early communication skills.\nPrepare classroom materials and help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming learning environment.\nSupport hands-on experiences such as gardening, cooking, art, music, sensory exploration, and practical life activities.\nBuild warm, positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.\nHelp create a nurturing, joyful classroom community where every child feels secure, supported, and encouraged to grow.\nWe're Looking for Toddler Assistant Teachers Who:\nHave experience or a strong desire to work with toddlers and young children.\nBring warmth, patience, energy, and enthusiasm to the classroom.\nEnjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive teaching team.\nAre dependable, flexible, and committed to creating a positive experience for children.\nHave strong communication and interpersonal skills.\nUnderstand or are eager to learn about toddler development, daily care routines, and social-emotional growth.\nAre interested in learning about Montessori education and philosophy.\nAre excited to grow professionally and explore opportunities for Montessori certification and future leadership roles.\nMontessori experience is welcomed but not required!We value educators who are passionate about working with young children and excited to learn.\nPhysical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:\nWorking with toddlers is an active, hands-on experience! Our teachers spend their days moving, engaging with children at their level, assisting with daily care routines, and supporting learning both indoors and outdoors.\nThis position includes:\nAbility to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and move throughout the classroom and outdoor learning environments.\nAbility to sit on the floor or work at child-sized tables and chairs to engage with children during daily activities.\nAbility to lift, carry, and assist young children or classroom materials weighing approximately 10-30 pounds as needed.\nAbility to assist with diapering, toileting, dressing, handwashing, and other personal care routines.\nAbility to actively supervise toddlers during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest periods, and transitions.\nAbility to communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.\nAbility to work in an active toddler environment with varying levels of noise, movement, and frequent interruptions.\nAbility to transition between indoor and outdoor environments and adapt to varying weather conditions.\nAbility to respond promptly and appropriately to children's physical, emotional, and developmental
