We are immensely proud of the breadth, quality and safety of activities we offer to young people.\nWe are currently looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our team.\nAbout the role\nWe are seeking a Volunteer & Business Support Coordinator who will play a key role in the coordination of effective business practices within and across Sea Cadet Units and the support for Unit Trustees.\nResponsibilities\nKey areas will focus on:\nUnit grants and loans\nUnit and MSSC Insurance\nAccurate recording and reporting of the opening and closing of Sea Cadet Units and Sections\nSupport for effective governance arrangements by and within Sea Cadet Units\nSupporting the Governance of the National Charity with effective minute taking of trustee meetings. \nRequirements\nAn understanding of the voluntary and community sector\nExperience of supporting business processes within a charitable organisation\nKnowledge and understanding of governance issues within the third sector\nExperience of developing processes, procedures and support guides targeted at internal and external customers\nExperience of supporting a committee, board or other formal meeting\nFor further information, please download the Recruitment Pack.
