You'll partner teams, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and startup of new and existing plant systems. You'll help develop engineering documentation, support quality and configuration management activities, participate in field walkdowns, assist with integrated testing efforts, monitor project progress and budgets, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with program requirements. Location: Oak Ridge, TN Salary: Depending on Experience Responsibilities\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout project execution.\nSupport development and review of engineering designs, specifications, calculations, drawings, and other technical documentation.\nWork with engineering, construction, project controls, procurement, vendors, and operations to resolve technical and project issues.\nCoordinate engineering deliverables and monitor progress against project schedules and milestones.\nSupport field activities, installation, testing, startup, and commissioning as required.\nReview vendor drawings, technical submittals, equipment specifications, and other engineering documentation.\nAssist with development and management of scopes of work, technical requirements, and project documentation.\nIdentify technical risks, design conflicts, and project impacts and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.\nSupport engineering changes, RFIs, field changes, and resolution of construction-related technical issues.\nParticipate in project meetings, design reviews, constructability reviews, and project planning activities.\nEnsure engineering activities are performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, quality requirements, and client procedures.\nProvide technical support to project management and communicate project status, issues, and priorities.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nQ-Clearance Required\nProject engineering or project management experience\nMechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering background\nExperience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams\nFamiliarity with quality programs, testing activities, and configuration management processes\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.\nBenefits:\nAll eligible employees enjoy an excellent benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, short/long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off including holidays, and tuition reimbursement.\nEEO Statement:\nMSTI is an equal-opportunity employer.
