This role ensures compliance with international trade regulations, banking requirements, and internal policies. The position requires close coordination with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments to ensure smooth trade finance operations.\n Review and verify all incoming and outgoing Letters of Credit for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with UCP 600, ISBP, and other trade finance rules.\nPrepare and submit LC applications to banks in line with contractual and business requirements.\nMonitor the lifecycle of each LC, ensuring timely amendments, document presentations, and settlements.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders (finance, procurement, logistics, and sales teams) to align LC requirements with business operations.\nResolve discrepancies in LC documentation in collaboration with banks and counterparties.\nMaintain accurate records of all LC transactions for audit and reporting purposes.\nGenerate periodic reports on LC exposure, utilization, and outstanding obligations.\nEnsure adherence to compliance standards, including anti-money laundering (AML) and trade sanctions regulations.\nSupport treasury and finance teams with cash flow forecasting related to LC transactions.\nAssist in process improvements and system enhancements for trade finance operations.\n Experience and Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferable.\nMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in trade finance, banking, or corporate treasury with exposure to Letters of Credit.\nStrong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, and international trade practices.\nProficiency in SAP (or other ERP systems) and trade finance modules preferred.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nCompetencies\nAnalytical thinking\nCustomer service orientation\nCommunication skills\nAttention to detail\nPlanning and organization\nProblem solving\nAbility to work with cross-functional teams\nContinuous improvement mindset\n MSX is an equal opportunities employer and encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, neurodiversity or other personal characteristics and backgrounds, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, or marital and parental status.
