Make sure best locations are selected from a platform, abilities, resource, and cost point of view.\nManage product documentation (PDS, manuals, datasheets, etc.) and promotional materials (brochures, web content, etc.) \nMarket Development\nContribute to the development of strategy and product pipeline under the leadership of global product management.\nSystematically monitor market trends and share the information with the marketing department, market management, business development and MOs.\nSupport core customer projects and applications.\nTraining and Support\nCreate product training materials, execute product introductions including launch trainings.\nProvide 3rd level support for products/service during active product life (support level 1…3 is in the responsibility of other teams).\nQuality Assurance\nCoordinate/execute quality assurance tasks such as analysis of data in quality monitoring systems or quality notes.\nAssess impact of Engineering Change Requests and coordinate with PO.\nEnsure that own products continuously meet internal and external quality standards and compliance requirements.\nManage and/or provide input to quality improvement tasks or recall and related communication activities.\nMaintenance of Line\nEnsure continuous profitability of own products throughout the active product life.\nMonitor/analyze sales figures. Initialize ECRs/projects for product upgrades, line extensions, de-proliferations, or cost reductions.\nEnsure sustainable C1 contributions in VPC analyses.\nPhase-out\nManage proper and effective phase-out of products when they have reached end of life status.\nEnsure smooth portfolio transition and avoid gaps. Consider potential regional/local differences (e.g. local approvals) and respond appropriately.\nGenerate phase-out guides.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nDegree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or similar subject.\nTechnical experience in the areas of factory automation systems, measurement technology, robotics or machine building.\nGood sense for business opportunities as well as entrepreneurial attitude.
