Prepare thorough, clear technical and functional specifications and update systems documentation. Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Review documentation prepared by less experienced staff. Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications. Recommend new technology, policies, or processes to benefit the organization and improve deficiencies. Participate in technical evaluations of vendor software. Adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.\nMinimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Systems Analyst, Software/Application Developer, Java Developer, System Engineer, or related occupation.\nRequires three (3) years of experience with each of the following:\nDeveloping RESTful APIs and web services\nUtilizing Java, including Java 8+ features such as Streams and Lambda expressions\nUtilizing Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, and Maven\nApplying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts\nImplementing robust exception handling in Java applications\nRequires two (2) years of experience with each of the following:\nAPI integration using SOAP Web Services, JSON, and XML\nUnit testing using JUnit\nAPI testing using Postman, or ReadyAPI\nVersion control using Git or GitLab\nBuilding CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins\nDesigning and optimizing SQL queries and working with relational databases (including MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)\nWorking with Docker containers and containerized deployments\nUsing logging and monitoring tools including Splunk, Kibana, or Dynatrace\nWorking within Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban\nSalary: $131,328.00 -
