The placement will provide exposure to two key areas of the business, with 6 months spent in the Structured Finance team followed by 6 months in the Loan Agency team. The Intern will complete a 12 month internship centered around professional development, career growth and building the necessary skills to succeed. As an Intern, you will gain exposure to other departments through guest speakers and industry leaders and a built-in network with peers.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nMay complete any or all of the following duties depending on business / departmental requirements:\nComplete routine clerical assignments to include but not limited to data entry, filing, etc.\nComplete routine research and analysis.\nComplete basic spreadsheets, word processing documents, etc.\nUnderstand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.\nPromote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.\nMaintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.\nComplete other related duties as assigned.\nScope of Responsibilities:\nThe incumbent works under immediate supervision.
