{"id":2242150,"url":"https://alion.io/job/mt-electronics-technician","title":"Electronics Technician","company":{"id":2690481,"name":"Mettler Toledo","domain":"mt.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/mt-com","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Avature","truth_index":{"grade":"A","score":100,"open_postings":292,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0,"repost_share":0.014,"time_to_fill_p50_days":9,"computed_at":"2026-10-23T05:54:15Z"}},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":"junior","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"inferred","locations":[],"countries":[],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Office","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-11T01:05:49Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-11","last_verified_at":"2026-10-23T18:26:02Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":12,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":12},"description":"Our Opening and Your Responsibilities\nThe Electronics Technician Level I utilizes tools, fixtures, and work instructions to support the repair of low-complexity electronic modules, X-ray tanks and detectors and/or metal detector repair and new-build production.\nFollow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures. \nDiagnose, refurbish, and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with risk assessments and safe mechanical and electrical guidelines. \nReport problems related to quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Repair Supervisor and/or Repair Manager. \nDocument work performed by completing quality checklists. \nWork with supervisors to understand process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality. \nProvide basic hands-on job-function training to coworkers as needed. \nMaintain a safe, clean and organized work area to support manufacturing operations. \nConserve resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately to accomplish job responsibilities. \nMaintain a positive work environment by communicating and performing in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients coworkers and management. \nAccurately track and record time spent on projects. \nAdhere to all company policies and procedures. \nOccasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nPerform entry-level SAP transactions. \nAssist higher-level technicians as needed and develop skills for advancement.\nMaintain a basic understanding of SAP processes and transactions related to production orders. \nTune and balance detectors received for repair, including Round, V3, and V4 systems and support new builds under supervision. \nCalibrate equipment to meet factory standards. \nSet up metal detectors for testing after completion and verify performance. \nReplace electronic components that do not meet standard specifications.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n0-2 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair of industrial equipment.\nBasic soldering skills \nAbility to read schematics and technical drawings. \nExperience using electronic test equipment. \nBasic mechanical and electrical aptitude. \nBasic electronic/electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.\nAbility to follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures. \nQuality-focused and safety-aware. Entry-level problem-solving skills. \nAbility to use basic hand and power tools.
