The Field Service Technician works at customer sites within a defined geographic region, calibrating Rainin and other brands of pipettes. Assisting with mechanical and electronic measuring, recording, and inspection on pipettes serviced to ensure conformance to established specifications. The responsibilities include the following:\nWorking alongside a Field Service Technician, helping them to perform their daily duties.\nFollowing daily service visits schedule through careful coordination with their Area Service Leader. \nWhile on site at customer facilities, assisting the Field Service Tech to provide pipette repair and calibration services.\nRepresenting Rainin to customer in a professional and positive manner.\nAbility to work as part of a small team.\nCompletes service reports and expense reports and is responsible for maintaining service equipment and parts inventory. \nWhen available, assists in Service Center production activities as assigned by the Area Service Leader\nTravel out of local area of up to 30% of the time required to support the business, including overnight travel up to 25% of the time.\nOther duties may be assigned\nTo be eligible for this position, you must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring any employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. This includes CPT, OPT, F-1, J-1, H-1B, or any other employment-based visa.
