You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial reporting while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs Finance Reporting Manager, you will:\nLead the financial reporting and accounting activities for the UK organisation.\nEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in accordance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and corporate requirements.\nPartner with the Head of Finance and key stakeholders to provide financial insight and support informed business decision-making.\nLead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nBuild effective working relationships with global Shared Service Centres to ensure high-quality accounting support and service delivery.\nIdentify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls, and reporting practices.\nEnsure compliance with statutory requirements, corporate policies, and SOX regulations.\nCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisers, and HMRC.\nPrepare and oversee statutory accounts, tax packs, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions.\nSupport working capital optimisation, with particular focus on accounts receivable performance.\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nAdvanced Excel and MS Office skills.\nSAP experience, including reporting and analysis.\nKnowledge of Hyperion would be advantageous.\nExcellent understanding of financial controls and data integrity.\nHighly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills. \nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, global matrix environment. \nA strong communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels\nOur Offer to You\nStrong work-life balance with 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 29 days.\nOption to buy or sell up to 5 additional leave days.\nEmployee health and wellbeing focus, including BUPA healthcare and Employee Assistance Program.\nPension scheme and life assurance at four times salary.\nFun, inclusive culture with team-building and charity events.\nCommitment to learning and career progression.\nAbout Mettler Toledo\nMETTLER TOLEDO is a global leader in precision instruments and services.
