This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, works well in international distributed teams, and brings clarity, ownership, and momentum to evolving requirements and open-ended challenges.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and maintain software across our product portfolio with strong fundamentals in quality, testability, maintainability, and delivery reliability\nWork closely with product owners, domain experts, engineers, and service stakeholders to turn unclear or evolving requirements into clear, robust technical solutions; identify risks and dependencies early; and propose pragmatic implementation approaches\nDeliver in a modern agile / scrum environment, actively contributing to planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement\nCollaborate effectively with distributed teams across locations and time zones\nTake ownership of technical areas while providing transparency, visibility, and predictable progress\nMentor teammates, contribute to technical discussions, and help strengthen engineering practices across the team\nWhat You Need to Succeed\nWhat You Need to Succeed\n7+ years of software engineering experience\nStrong programming skills and software engineering fundamentals\nDeep experience with C# / .NET\nExperience with hardware- or embedded-system-integrated software, including hardware abstraction, and communication protocols\nBreadth across platform software, web development, and desktop Windows applications, with the ability to move between user-facing features, application logic, and technical infrastructure as needed\nStrong experience with Azure DevOps, including backlog management, source control, build pipelines, and deployment pipelines\nProven success in distributed teams using modern agile / scrum practices\nAbility to turn evolving requirements into implementable solutions\nExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, including working with multiple product owners and cross-functional stakeholders\nStrong ownership, autonomy, accountability, and quality mindset\nExperience building software that processes, presents, or persists structured data\nExperience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards\nDomain familiarity in lab automation, scientific instrumentation, or industrial automation is a plus\nFluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are a plus.\nWho you are\nYou are a software engineer who enjoys building real products that matter.
