This role will be responsible for shaping data strategy, defining information models, and delivering robust data platforms capable of supporting advanced analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives.\nYou will work closely with engineering, analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, accessible, and structured effectively across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and influencing the future direction of large-scale digital transformation programmes.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple domains.\nDesign and govern scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI workloads.\nEstablish data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to improve data quality and consistency.\nCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define data requirements and strategic roadmaps.\nDrive the implementation of a single source of truth across complex and diverse datasets.\nSupport the adoption of modern cloud-based data platforms and architecture patterns.\nEnsure data solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned to organisational objectives.\nProvide architectural leadership across data engineering, analytics, and AI initiatives.\nSkills & Experience:\nStrong experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Enterprise Information Management.\nProven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines within large-scale environments.\nExpertise in creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.\nExperience defining data governance standards, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.\nStrong understanding of modern cloud data platforms and data integration technologies.\nAbility to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience working within highly regulated, complex, or large-scale organisations.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience supporting or enabling Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning\nKnowledge of MLOps, feature stores, real-time analytics, or automated data pipelines.\nExperience with data mesh, domain-driven design, or modern data architecture patterns.\nFamiliarity with data cataloguing, lineage, and observability tools.\nPrevious experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes.\nThe successful candidate will establish scalable, well-governed data architectures that enable trusted decision-making, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation. They will provide strategic leadership across data initiatives, ensuring data is effectively modelled, integrated, and managed while supporting complex business and technology programmes.
