From Business Analysts in large government organisations to Software Developers in the private sector - we are always in search of the best talent to place, now.\nThe Role:\nWe are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development and enhancement of complex software applications used within a highly regulated engineering environment.\nIn this role, you will design, develop and maintain software solutions, working closely with Systems Engineers, Test Engineers and Project Teams to deliver high-quality products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving challenging technical problems and contributing to innovative, real-world solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies.\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to release.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new functionality and product enhancements.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects identified during development and testing.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvements.\nProduce technical documentation to support development and support activities.\nSupport Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning and reviews.\nContribute to technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSkills & Experience:\nCommercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET.\nExperience developing desktop applications using Windows Forms.\nUnderstanding of TCP/IP and UDP networking protocols.\nExperience working within structured software development environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience with source control and software configuration management.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience with C++ or Java.\nExperience developing software for complex integrated systems.\nUnderstanding of multithreaded applications.\nExperience within aerospace, defence, transport, industrial automation or other regulated industries.\nFamiliarity with automated testing practices.\nSuccess in this role means consistently delivering robust, maintainable software solutions that meet both customer and business requirements. You will contribute positively to sprint objectives and project milestones, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
