Availability on 1st or 2nd shift.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities include:\nOperation of Amanda EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser Turret combination press equipment.\nMaintaining all tooling libraries and equipment for daily operation.\nOperation of Amanda EMLK 3610 NT CNC Laser Turret combination press equipment. \nInteracting with Operations, Engineering and Production Planning for issues related to daily work orders and scheduling.\nLoading and unloading of all products to and from machines.\nAssists department in use of other sheet metal fabrication machines including press brakes, rolls, sheers, drill presses, spot welders.\nWelding experience is a plus.\nExperience working with Trump or equivalent punch/laser combination machines would be considered.\nVerifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.\nFollows safety guidelines and demonstrates safe work practices.\nFollows all workplace rules.\nCompletes all paperwork neatly and accurately.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\n\nShould have strong Laser, Turret Punch or CNC machine operating background\nMinimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.\nCompetent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.\nDemonstrated competency in basic shop math.\nBasic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.\nPrevious experience with overhead crane use is desired.\nFlexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nDesire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.\nStrong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement.\nAbility to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations.\nCommitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.\nUnderstanding and support of Company policies and procedures.\nSafety conscious behavior.\nExcellent attendance\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience working within a highly technical environment. \nPerform setups and operations on CO2 Lasers and/or Turret Punch.\nCan understand and program G and M code machine language.\nPrevious experience with overhead crane use is desired.\nStrong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.\n\nJob Expectations\nPhysical Activity:\nActivity\nN/A\nOccasionally\nFrequently\nRegularly\nAverage lbs.\nLift/Carry\nX\n50\nPush/Pull\nX\n50\nReach Overhead\nX\nComments: Moderate to heavy physical effort required to perform the basis essentials of the job.
