Signing Bonus!\nResponsibilities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOperates rotational molding machine to meet or exceed plant metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale/Inventory. \nMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.\nTransfer plastic resin into ovens for heating and into molds for forming. \nWork as a team to assemble and dismantle molds.\nRemoves molded parts from the molds and monitors part temperature.\nConduct mold changes using overhead cranes and rigging. \nUses feedback from Trimmers inspecting product to drive process improvements to reduce scrap and improve productivity.\nMaintains safe and clean operations by adhering to safety procedures and company 6S requirements.\nMaintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.\nDocuments actions by completing production and quality logs.\nOther duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nQualifications:\n Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to complete dimensional measuring and quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.\n Ability to perform simple math and measurements. \n Ability to maintain a high attention to detail.\n Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs.\n Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crouching, or reaching above the shoulders is required.\nFrequent use of hands and wrists on both large and small items: e.g., screws, bolts and nuts to service the molds.\n Ability to understand/apply knowledge of “G” and “M” codes and have applicable computer skills. \n Ability to focus and work at a continuous pace for extended periods of time.\n Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.\n Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments. \n Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.\n Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.\nPrevious manufacturing experience preferred.\nExposure to a Lean manufacturing environment preferred.\nEquipment Operated:\nForklift, measurement devices, wrenches, screwdrivers and various other hand tools.\nJob
