If you're looking for a company where your leadership and contributions make a difference, where your ideas are welcomed, and your career can continue to grow, Metalcraft of Mayville is the place for you.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for production, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.\nSupervise a team of welders and weld operators.\nMaintain and perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment.\nWork with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.\nInspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.\nWork with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.\nRecommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.\nConduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.\nRead and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.\nPlan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.\nKeep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.\nEnsure employees follow established manufacturing process and meet production requirements.\nRequisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.\nObserve work and monitor output to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.\nEnsures adherence to company safety standards, policies and procedures.\nProvide recommendations for correction or improvement as appropriate.\nPromote a positive and growth/opportunity-oriented mindset among peers and any subordinates and work with HR.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
