This may include training individuals in the use of MTM technology, program communication requirements, bus travel, schedule reading, and effective use of resources. The Transportation Support Trainer will also research, identify, create, and present presentations for program opportunities within the community.\nThis position is a hybrid role (Monday-Friday). Some travel within the State of WI is required.\nWhat you’ll do:\nIdentify and complete assessments on each applicant\nProvide one-on-one, individualized training\nDemonstrate and instruct individuals on transit skills\nDemonstrate and instruct individuals on how to travel routes including navigation and way-finding strategies\nInstruct individuals on self-advocacy\nCreate lesson plans that are appropriate for individuals of different learning levels\nResearch and identify opportunities to enhance the referral program within the community, creating custom presentations for this outreach\nConduct group presentations\nEstablish relationships with professionals in the field, community and advocacy organizations\nSchedule training at the time and means most appropriate for the individual\nProvide in class and in-the-field training\nComplete all reports and paperwork including but not limited to; goal setting and pre/post results tracking\nMust conform to MTM’s HIPAA standards\nProvide support on special projects as needed\nOther duties as assigned\nWhat you’ll need:\nExperience, Education & Certifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n2 + years’ experience in customer service\n1 + year experience in training others\nMust possess a Valid Driver's License\nSkills:\nDemonstrated training skills, comfortable leading groups of people\nAbility to accomplish duties/tasks with little direct supervision\nStrong interpersonal skills that allow for effective working relationships\nIntermediate level of proficiency or above with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook\nExcellent communication skills\nExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills\nAbility to work flexible hours, in all weather conditions\nAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality\nFamiliarity with the transit agency system, preferred\nFamiliarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)\nEven better if you have...\nAssociate’s degree in Education, Human Services, or Healthcare preferred\nExperience working with a community advocacy or similar organization, preferred\nWhat’s in it for you:\nHealth and Life Insurance Plans\nDental and Vision Plans\n401(k) with a company match\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nCasual Dress Environment\nTuition Reimbursement\nMTM Perks Discount Program \nLeadership Mentoring Opportunities \nSalary Min: $19.66/hr\nSalary Max: $25/hr\nThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
