The Regional Ambulance Manager (East) will provide a high level of service to our Ambulance partners every day, ensuring high operational standards and provider satisfaction. The Regional Ambulance Manager (East) will also provide financial analysis of ambulance transportation costs for the assigned region.\nLocation: This is a remote role that can be located anywhere within the East region of the United States. This role will travel up to 25% within the East region.\nWhat you’ll do:\nFull lifecycle recruitment of ambulance vendors throughout assigned region; identify, contract and onboard ambulance vendors\nLead the retention of and recruitment of the existing network to ensure that networks are comprehensive in geographic coverage\nNegotiate pricing and trip coverage expectations with providers\nEvaluate performance and costs of ambulance providers and hold vendors accountable for a variety of metrics, including, but not limited to on time performance, cost and customer service satisfaction\nMaintain a strong understanding of the client expectations, contract agreements, state/ local/ client ambulance rates and protocols, Medicaid and Medicare fee schedules, and service level expectations\nWork closely with Mobile Integrated Health team to ensure strong ambulance partnerships to provide community paramedicine and in-home services\nOversight of internal ambulance processes, provider training, and claims resolution\nDrive ambulance cost containment initiatives through innovative recommendations, including but not limited to reviewing and containing average costs per trip, average costs per mile, and other costs related metrics to meet budgeted transportation expenses\nMonitor service levels and trip scheduling to ensure client and contract expectations are met\nProvide ambulance providers with answers, guidance and support for questions or concerns regarding ambulance operations, from initial trip scheduling through reimbursement\nOversee and ensure consistency of the execution of ambulance policies and procedures\nMonitor and communicate, at least monthly, the overall performance metrics including recruitment activity and progress towards recruitment goals; meeting/ exceeding trip setting goals; provider satisfaction; ensuring metrics are being met and/or initiatives are taken to meet the metrics\nTrack and report ambulance and Mobile Integrated Health implementation project progress and deliverables\nProvide support with the client when needed\nEnsure providers are educated and trained in accordance with MTM and contract specific requirements\nParticipate in planning, revisions, implementation and execution of updated amendments and/or regulations\nFacilitate town halls, conventions and seminars\nAct as ambulance subject matter expert for the company and stay up to date on industry trends and service expansion opportunities\nEnsure consistency in process and quality, and will monitor to ensure contract standards are met through service levels, provider and client satisfaction, and compliance of protocols and procedures\nExecute on new implementations and client expansions\nWhat you’ll need:\nExperience, Education & Certifications:\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D\nPrevious experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) industry\nMinimum 5+ years previous experience in EMS or Ambulance Operations, Dispatch Operations, Logistics or Transportation (7+ years preferred)\nIntermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nSkills:\nMust be results driven and able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients at all levels\nAbility to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines\nStrong focus on customers, accountability, teamwork, collaboration and decisiveness\nExcellent customer orientation, interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow through\nAbility to handle a high level of sensitive and confidential matters tactfully and professionally\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment\nStrong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills\nMust be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment\nMust demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer service\nMust demonstrate an ongoing positive attitude and demeanor\nAct as a brand ambassador for the company\nMust demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills\nExcellent public speaking and presentation skills\nKnowledge of transportation logistics\nMust be able to conduct inspections, audits, communicate issues, and corrective actions from an authoritative position but with professional courtesy\nEven better if you have:\nClinical license or degree; Paramedic or EMT strongly preferred\nManagement experience, strongly preferred\nWhat’s in it for you:\nHealth and Life Insurance Plans\nDental and Vision Plans\n401(k) with a company match\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nCasual Dress Environment\nTuition Reimbursement\nMTM Perks Discount Program \nLeadership Mentoring Opportunities \nAt MTM, we believe that taking care of our employees-and the people they love-is the foundation of a healthy, thriving organization.
