TheProgram Manager must ensure the most appropriate, timely and effective delivery of ADA Paratransit Eligibility is taking place, in accordance with both MTM and Client requirements. The Program Manager ensures contract compliance for the ADA Eligibility Program and ensures all tasks are completed reliably, timely, within an efficient manner and with proper customer service. This position may be responsible for assisting the assessment team with conducting functional and cognitive assessments with applicants to determine their eligibility and may assist with final eligibility determinations and/or recommendations as needed. The Program Manager also acts as the internal liaison between MTM and the Client to ensure MTM is fully compliant with contract requirements.\nLocation: 1347 W. Trenton Ave Orange, CA 92867\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide leadership and management of direct and non-direct reports to include the Assessment team members and support Staff\nEstablish a working relationship with the Client and act as a liaison to ensure their expectations are met and any requests for information are responded to in a timely manner\nUnderstand and interpret all aspects of the contracted program and serve as the team’s Subject Matter Expert, both locally and externally\nMaintain working knowledge and abilities of MTM and Client software\nEducate the Client on MTM procedures to ensure full compliance with the contract including documentation and reporting\nReview service delivery to ensure that the most appropriate and effective abilities assessments are performed\nRespond to any ADA eligibility complaints and properly document response\nAct as a mentor to new employees and assist with the development of team members\nConduct education training for employees regarding new and ongoing processes and procedures\nWork with support staff to ensure program effectiveness\nEvaluate assessments and determinations with the assessment staff to ensure accurate results\nRespond to any ADA eligibility or complaints and properly document response\nDetermine what functional assessments the applicant will be required to undergo\nMake the final determination regarding eligibility based upon the application, interview, functional assessment, and any supplemental information\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of cognitive and physical functional assessments, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)\nBuild rapport and communicate with family and natural support network of the applicant\nSubmit accurate, required reports in a timely manner\nMaintain a positive attitude when interacting with support staff, applicants and their caregivers\nMust conform to MTM’s HIPAA standards\nConduct one-on-one in-person interviews to assess mobility capabilities as needed\nConduct physical and/or cognitive functional assessments as needed\nConduct or perform the following assessments (as needed):FACTS Test\nMoCA\nMMSE\nBeck Anxiety Inventory\nTinetti Gait and Balance Assessment\n\nResponsible for building required documents and work plans as needed\nRepresent the organization by embodying the defined culture and MTM Brand Ambassador behaviors\nAppropriate knowledge and ability to perform and oversee evaluations as required\nWhat you’ll need:\nExperience, Education & Certifications:\nH.S. diploma or G.E.D.\nBachelor’s degree in Social Services, Rehabilitation, Ancillary Health Care Profession, Business or a related field\nWilling to accept relevant experience and specialized certifications in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree depending upon contract specifications (Certifications can include: COTA, OT, PT)\n5+ years of previous leadership or supervisory experience in public transportation or related field\n5+ years of management and operations of an ADA paratransit eligibility assessment program similar to or larger than OC Access\nMust demonstrate completion of Easterseals’ Project Action Determining ADA Complementary Paratransit Eligibility workshop and Transit and Paratransit Management Certificate Program\nMust possess Certified Travel Training Instructor credential (CTTI)\nFamiliarity with the assessment process and making final determinations for eligibility\nExperience and knowledge with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and sensitivity to issues relating to people with disabilities\nExperience conducting information-gathering or functional interviews and/or assessments\nDepending upon location, may be required to possess a valid driver’s license\nSkills:\nStrong interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diversity of people\nIntermediate level of proficiency or above with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)\nExcellent communication skills\nExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skills\nAbility to interact effectively with individuals of varying levels of disabilities\nAbility to work flexible hours and adapt to a rapidly changing environment\nAbility to handle confidential information in a professional manner\nKnowledge of the public transportation system & services\nEven better if you have...\nCurrent licensure to practice Physical or Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience post licensure preferred\nCPR and First Aid Certification, preferred\nWhat’s in it for you:\nHealth and Life Insurance Plans\nDental and Vision Plans\n401(k) with a company match\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nCasual Dress Environment\nTuition Reimbursement\nMTM Perks Discount Program \nLeadership Mentoring Opportunities \nSalary Min: $80,000/ annually\nSalary Max: $110,000/ annually\nThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
