Together, we thrive, push our limits, and work as team to help you reach your full potential.\nWhat Will Your Job Look Like?\nIn partnership with Pomona Valley Transportation Authority the General Manager works in collaboration with operations, corporate support departments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. Will act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure that the location is fully compliant with all contractual requirements.\nThis position is contingent upon the award of RFP.\nLocation: La Verne, CA\nWhat You’ll Do:\nContract oversight and facilitation of client needs with anticipation of growth\nIdentify potential risk and develop resolution processes\nContinually analyze program needs and productivity and adjust staffing and resources to ensure cost effectiveness\nDevelopment of or oversight of documentation or work plans as required or needed\nEmployee training and development\nThorough understanding of the contract, MTM Transit policies and employee handbook guidelines\nDevelop a working relationship with client to ensure exceptional customer service needs and problem resolution processes are in place\nAct as a liaison between MTM Transit and client to address any concerns or issues that may arise and do so in a timely manner\nAct in a consultative manner, developing and presenting annual plan reviews\nProvide education and information to client regarding MTM Transit procedures, services available, and changes within the Para-Transit industry\nMaintain a “Safety First” attitude with client and personnel\nGood understanding or local climate needs and issues pertaining to the passenger transportation industry\nThorough understanding of ridership policies to ensure smooth transportation services\nCapability of addressing any questions / concerns regarding site transit program\nMaintain all employee and vehicle files in accordance with FTA and DOT guidelines\nDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of MTM Transit departments and compliance programs within each\nMonitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidance\nOversight of Federally mandated Drug and Alcohol program\nPerform additional duties as assigned or required\nWhat you’ll need:\nExperience, Education & Certifications:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D\nAt least 7+ years of experience managing or providing key leadership support for a large sized, profitable operations team in a multimillion contract (5 + plus) environment\nExperience managing a site of 100+ employees\nPrevious management experience in the Para-Transit or livery industries\nExperience monitoring the delivery of contractual services\nMust possess a valid current driver’s license\nSkills:\nMust possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positions\nAbility to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM Transit operations, company policies, and guidelines \nAbility to acquire in-depth knowledge of computerized transit routing systems\nData analysis\nExceptional interpretation and problem solving skills \nAbility to schedule, organize and prioritize multiple tasks \nUnderstanding of budget and cost analysis \nModerate to advanced computer skills \nAbility working with data reporting and analytics \nKnowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations \nAbility to establish key processes and procedures\nAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality\nEven better if you have...\nPrior contract and or project management experience preferred\nCDL preferred\nWhat’s in it for you:\nHealth and Life Insurance Plans\nDental and Vision Plans\n401(k) with a company match\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nTuition Reimbursement\nLeadership Mentoring Opportunities\nSalary Range:\nMinimum: $99,760/ annually\nMaximum: $149,640/annually\nThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
