Together, we thrive, push our limits, and work as team to help you reach your full potential.\nWhat Will Your Job Look Like?\nTheManager, Maintenance oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program to ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained in an effective and safety conscious manner. The Manager, Maintenance will be able to perform duties in a timely manner and advise higher-level manager of any potential issues that could affect the overall performance and longevity of the fleet.\nThis position is contingent on award of contract and will be located on site at our location in Sonora, CA for the Tuolumne County Transit service.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nResponsible for maintenance, service, diagnosing and minor repair of MTM Transit service vehicles\n\nPlans and schedules workloads based on preventative maintenance tasks, utilizing budget and personnel as defined by General Manager\n\nDevelop vehicle tracking and fleet maintenance portfolio to ensure cost effective means of maintaining fleet\n\nEnsure vehicle documentation (i.e., registration, insurance, etc.) is current and kept in vehicle as required\n\nTrack and report weekly all maintenance issues and potential risks to General Manager\n\nReview driver history to ensure safe driving practices and identify any potential safety issues to General Manager\n\nTrain drivers and maintenance staff on correct pre-trip and post-trip inspections procedures to include completing DVIRs\n\nReview DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) for accurateness and address any issues annotated\n\nEstablish a network of local repair vendors to utilize for services to ensure the most cost effective means of repair and servicing\n\nEnsure OSHA, DOT, and FTA compliance\n\nEnsure shop or facility is clean and kept in a professional working manner\n\nReport any spills, falls, incidents to Manager as required\n\nWhat You’ll need:\nExperience, Education & Certifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field\n\nValid California Class B Drivers license\n\n3+ years of automotive mechanical experience\n\nPrevious management experience in fleet maintenance area\n\nPrevious experience in paratransit, fixed route or micro-transit services\n\nThorough knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations\n\nExperience with hands-on training\n\nSkills:\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nStrong problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to understand and administer discipline\n\nKnowledge of basic safety and training procedures\n\nGood organizational skills with attention to timeliness and details\n\nAbility to work flexible hours as required\n\nAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality\n\nRegular attendance is required\n\nWhat’s in it for you:\nHealth and Life Insurance Plans\n\nDental and Vision Plans\n\n401(k) with a company match\n\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\n\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\n\nCasual Dress Environment\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nMTM Perks Discount Program\n\nLeadership Mentoring Opportunities\n\nSalary Min: $78,560\nSalary Max: $117,840\nThis information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
