Together, we thrive, push our limits, and work as team to help you reach your full potential.\nMTM Transit is Hiring!\nThe Road Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all fleet operations meet company standards and are in compliance with all governmental or regulatory standards. Ensure efficient mechanical operation and appearance of each vehicle is maintained. Monitor all accident and injury investigations. Monitor comments and complaints of passengers regarding service, especially feedback regarding the safety of passengers. Ensure all daily routes are supplied with drivers. Develop utilization reports to establish cost effective routes and schedules to meet the needs of the customer and client.\nThis position is located in Salem, OR.\nWhy make the move to MTM Transit:\n Starting pay: $24.26\nAffordable benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision\nFree Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability coverage for eligible employees\nPaid Training\nPaid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)\nSafety Bonus\nYearly Pay Increases\n401(k) with Company Match\nReferral Bonus Program\nWhat You'll Do:\nOversee on time performance measures of drivers, monitor driving and safety practices of drivers daily\nProvide oversight of fleet maintenance program\nRespond and coordinate data and photo collection at accident and incident scenes\nInvestigate and assist with accident determination\nAssist drivers with questions, customer assistance and overall on the road support\nAssist customers with information and complaint resolution\nProvide management with reports to assist with the evaluation of route and schedule effectiveness\nPerform additional duties as assigned or required\nWhat You’ll Need:\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent\nMust possess a valid Oregon Class B CDL with an air brake & passenger endorsement or ability to obtain\nBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field preferred\nMust be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening\nNo suspensions, DUI, or More than 1 citation in the past 5 years\nMust pass criminal background check\nAbility to maintain high level of confidentiality\nEven better if you have…\nExperience working in a supervisory role preferred\nKnowledge of DOT and FTA safety regulations preferred\nThorough knowledge of accident investigation preferred\nKnowledge of Safety and training practices and procedures\nAbility to communicate, teach and mentor employees\nMust be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills\nQuick to process information and make adjustments or recommendations\nSkills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications\nEqual Opportunity Employer: MTM is an equal opportunity employer.
