The ideal candidate will be organized, service-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects, municipalities, and permitting requirements simultaneously.\nThe Permit Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the permitting process from application through approval, working closely with internal teams, municipalities, building departments, inspectors, homeowners, and installation partners to ensure projects remain on schedule.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and submit permit applications for residential window and door projects\nCoordinate permitting requirements with municipalities, building departments, and local authorities\nTrack permit applications from initial submission through final approval\nMonitor multiple permit applications and deadlines simultaneously\nFollow up with municipalities regarding outstanding applications, corrections, approvals, and inspections\nReview project documentation to ensure applications are accurate, complete, and meet local requirements\nIdentify missing information or documentation that could delay the permitting process\nCoordinate with Sales, Project Management, Installation, and Operations teams to obtain required documentation\nMaintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, corrections, inspections, and related documentation\nCommunicate permit status and potential delays to internal teams\nCoordinate inspections when required and ensure inspection requirements are properly documented\nMaintain organized digital files and permitting records\nEnsure all required documentation is properly submitted and filed\nAssist with resolving permitting issues and discrepancies as they arise\nStay organized while managing a high volume of projects and deadlines\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the department\nAssist the Operations team with additional administrative and project coordination responsibilities as needed\nRequired Skills\nExceptional organizational and time-management skills\nHigh attention to detail and strong organizational habits\nAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines\nStrong follow-up and problem-solving capabilities\nProfessional phone and email communication skills\nAbility to communicate effectively with municipalities, building departments, contractors, homeowners, and internal
