Additionally, the role involves monitoring company performance and the broader business environment, translating data related to customers, channels, competitors, and macroeconomic trends into accurate, actionable strategic insights.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities: \n\nCustomer Analytics & Performance Monitoring \n\nPerform customer level analytics to help explain performance trends and provide insight in a timely manner for decision making.\n\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards as well as Implementing best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency for the best user experience.\n\nCarry out all regular and ad hoc data analytics activities to enable business to obtain better insights\n\nPredictive Analytics & Modeling\n\nDevelop and maintain machine learning models for forecasting customer behavior, churn, and business outcomes.\n\nConduct gap analysis to identify underserved areas and optimize agent network deployment.\n\nAnalyze mobile money agent liquidity, float availability, and transaction patterns to detect stress points and seasonal trends.\n\nCommercial Strategy Support\n\nPartner with teams in Commercial operations to understand business needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions\n\nUse data-driven insights to guide business strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics\n\nDevelop business cases for new initiatives and products.\n\nAssess the impact of pricing, promotions, and market dynamics.\n\nProvide data-driven insights to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.\n\nKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (SMART)\n\nTimely and accurate performance reporting.\n\nAutomation and visualization of key metrics.\n\nDelivery of actionable insights that influence commercial outcomes.\n\nDevelopment of robust business plans and financial forecasts.\n\nQualifications, Skills and Experience:\n\nA bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science\n\nProficiency in SQL and Python\n\nProficiency in Data Science & ML development and deployment\n\nAdvanced Knowledge in PowerBI.\n\nMinimum 5 years in the area of specialisation\n\nExperience in data science, machine learning & advanced data analytics.\n\nProficiency in Power BI, SQL, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel modeling.\n\nStrong understanding of telecom KPIs, revenue models, and operational metrics.\n\nProven ability to simplify complex data and influence strategic decisions.\n\nSkills / physical competencies:\n\nStrong analytical and storytelling skills.\n\nAbility to align performance metrics with business goals.\n\nSkilled in leading cross-functional collaboration and influencing senior stakeholders.\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\n\nProactive problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.\n\nExpertise in Data Science & Machine Learning: Forecasting, segmentation, churn prediction, cluster
