Residents\nAbout the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Consulting Engineer to support enterprise networking infrastructure for a healthcare customer in Singapore.\nYou will be a key technical contact for complex network incidents and escalations, working closely with customers, vendor technical support and internal delivery teams to restore services, identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.\nThe role covers Cisco Enterprise Wireless, SD-WAN, Data Centre ACI, Catalyst Center and firewall technologies, with particular emphasis on maintaining reliable connectivity across critical healthcare environments.\nKey ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced troubleshooting and operational support across enterprise wireless, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Catalyst Center and firewalls.\n\nLead the investigation and resolution of high-severity incidents, including live-network troubleshooting, log analysis and packet captures.\n\nOwn technical escalations through to resolution, coordinating with vendor TAC, engineering teams, partners and customer stakeholders.\n\nPerform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve network stability.\n\nSupport network changes, maintenance and upgrades while minimising disruption to clinical and administrative operations.\n\nTroubleshoot wireless connectivity, authentication, roaming, coverage and performance issues.\n\nInvestigate SD-WAN routing, connectivity, policy, control-plane and data-plane issues.\n\nSupport ACI fabric operations, including access policies, tenants, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts and connectivity troubleshooting.\n\nUse Catalyst Center for provisioning, assurance, monitoring and issue investigation.\n\nTroubleshoot firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, high availability and traffic flows.\n\nProvide clear incident updates and explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nPrepare RCA reports, operational procedures, technical recommendations and knowledge articles.\n\nShare knowledge and mentor other engineers.\n\nParticipate in on-call support, shift coverage and maintenance activities as required.\n\nRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nAt least 4–6 years of relevant enterprise networking experience.\n\nHands-on working knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Wireless, Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco Data Centre ACI, with strong expertise in at least one core technology.\n\nExperience with Cisco Catalyst Center, formerly DNA Center, and enterprise firewall technologies.\n\nStrong understanding of routing, switching, network segmentation and high-availability environments.\n\nProven troubleshooting skills using CLI, logs, packet captures and network monitoring tools.\n\nExperience supporting production networks and resolving complex, service-impacting incidents.\n\nAbility to take ownership of issues, manage competing priorities and remain structured under pressure.\n\nStrong customer communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.\n\nCCNP or equivalent certification.\n\nWillingness to support on-call rotations and work outside normal business hours when required.\n\nSingapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.\n\nPreferred ExperienceCCIE or relevant specialist certifications in wireless, SD-WAN or data centre networking.\n\nHealthcare, public-sector or other regulated, business-critical network experience.\n\nPrevious experience in vendor TAC, high-touch technical support, consulting or managed services.\n\nFamiliarity with medical device connectivity, healthcare network segmentation and data protection expectations.\n\nScripting or automation experience using Python, Ansible or Linux
