This role requires strong hands-on delivery experience alongside the ability to develop and explain migration designs.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssess existing storage environments, including capacity, performance, connectivity, application dependencies and migration readiness.\n\nDevelop migration strategies and technical designs for transitioning workloads from existing enterprise storage platforms to Pure Storage solutions.\n\nPrepare detailed migration plans, runbooks, implementation procedures, validation checks and rollback plans.\n\nConfigure and validate source and target storage environments, including SAN connectivity, host mappings, multipathing and replication where applicable.\n\nExecute storage migrations, coordinate cutover activities and troubleshoot issues across storage, host, virtualisation and SAN layers.\n\nWork with application owners and infrastructure teams to agree migration sequencing, dependencies, downtime windows and acceptance criteria.\n\nValidate data integrity, application accessibility and storage performance following migration.\n\nIdentify technical risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures throughout the migration lifecycle.\n\nLead technical discussions with customers and project stakeholders, providing clear progress updates and recommendations.\n\nComplete technical documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operations teams.\n\nFollow customer security, access control and change management requirements.\n\nSupport scheduled migration and cutover activities outside normal business hours when required.\n\nRequirements\nDiploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nAt least 7 years of relevant enterprise infrastructure or storage experience, including substantial hands-on storage migration delivery.\n\nProven experience independently planning and executing enterprise storage migrations, including cutover, validation and rollback preparation.\n\nStrong knowledge of enterprise block storage, SAN architecture, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, LUN provisioning, zoning and host multipathing.\n\nHands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray and enterprise storage platforms such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE or Hitachi.\n\nExperience supporting storage connectivity and migration activities across VMware, Windows and Linux environments.\n\nAbility to assess application dependencies, troubleshoot complex migration issues and manage technical risks.\n\nStrong customer-facing communication, technical documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.\n\nMust hold existing CAT 1 security clearance.
