The receptionist provides support by being the face of the clinic offering excellent customer service, patient registration, and scheduling. The receptionist ensures smooth operation of the clinic by facilitating a quick check-in, check-out, and payment process for patients and their families.\nPosition Qualifications\n-At least 18 years old.\n-Must have High School diploma or equivalent.\n-Reliable transportation.\n-Willing to work weekends.\nEssential Functions\nReception\n-Treat all patients and their families in a friendly and polite manner in all interactions.\n-Answer incoming phone calls, faxes, emails, and patient portal requests.\n-Register new patients with the clinic and accurately record their information in the designated HER system.\n-Prep daily paperwork and charts to track patient appointments and ensure valid insurance, copay, and balance information is correct.\n-Collect payment via various methods and accurately record the receipts.\n-Scan, Copy and Print patient documentation.\nCompliance\n-Accurately perform quality controls.\n-Utilize principles of safety and infection control, including universal precautions.\n-Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.\n-Meets standards of medical record audit for documenting medical history according to Policies and Procedures.\n-Participate in organizational quality improvement guidelines and pertinent government regulations including OSHA and CLIA.\n-Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to hiring, termination, pay, etc.\nDemonstrated Attributes\n-Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to practice key components of mindfulness, continuous learning, a coach approach, innovation, adaptability, and resilience with all members of Mt.
