Join us and you’ll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for its brilliance.\nPosition Summary:\nThis position ensures product quality using quality engineering tools and product inspections at the MTU factory or at strategic business partner locations.\nKey Accountabilities:\nCoordinate and implement quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.\nDevise and implement quality control plans.\nDevelop and implement quality audits of production and operations.\nOversee PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) process.\nDevelop long-range corrective measures through root-cause analysis using 8D/A3 methodology.\nInvestigate non-conformances, including customer complaints and internal improvement opportunities.\nCarry out product inspections in line with quality control plans.\nProvide accurate and timely data to management regarding quality concerns.\nWrite and distribute quality data and reports.\nKeep management abreast of progress, developments, and pending problems.\nPromote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.\nPerform special projects as required\nBasic Requirements:\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time\nBachelors’ degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing engineering plus 3 years quality engineering experience with large industrial equipment or 7 years quality engineering with large industrial equipment.\nAbility to work flexible hours or shifts\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production of large industrial equipment.\nStrong knowledge of quality control, raw materials, manufacturing processes, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of large industrial equipment.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nSelf-starter possessing strong initiative and teamwork\nProficient with PC and MS Office Suite\nKnowledge of NFPA 70, NEC, UL 2200 and CSA.\nFamiliar with plant operations and equipment\nKnowledge of MTU components and products\nKnowledge of genset performance requirements\nKnowledge of gauge and test equipment\nRolls-Royce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
