He/she is also responsible for leading the project execution phase, from the receipt of the customer's order to the successful commissioning of the product or system.\nThe job position described here must fulfill the role of Application Engineer in the application(s) to which it is dedicated, under the coordination of the Application Engineering Supervisor.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nReview of RFQ, at the request of the Sales Manager, and preparation of the technical proposal according to the client's requirements, ensuring the optimal selection of the product or system for the specific application.\n\nInteract with the Application Engineers of the relevant Business Unit at headquarters to get the necessary adaptions and customizations to serial products to better adapt them to the customer’s needs.\n\nTechnical support to Sales Managers throughout the offer process, including meetings with customers when necessary.\n\nCollaboration in marketing actions such as attendance to exhibitions, events and technical presentations to customers.\n\nLead projects from order receipt to completion of commissioning, following project management processes (PMP) with the aim of minimizing costs and ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.\n\nEnsure the right interface with partners and subsuppliers during the execution of the project.\n\nFollow-up the completion of payment/invoicing/revenue recognition milestones and coordinate with Finance to trigger the necessary actions.\n\nCoordinate and lead Service team during the commissioning phase.\n\nPerform detailed post-calculations of the projects once the commissioning has been completed.\n\nAnd other tasks not described that due to the needs of the company are necessary for the performance of his job.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nBusiness expertise:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar position\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in project management\n\nProject leadership skills\n\nKnowledge and experience to apply business operations practices and coordinate with others closely related areas to improve efficiency\n\nFunctional knowledge:\nIndustrial / Energy / Electric Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar\n\nHigh knowledge of the sector, its products and applications\n\nProject Management sound knowledge (preferable PMP)\n\nIn-house mtu product training: MTU internal tools, IPAS, Business Portal, CEC, LCC, Windchill, S4HC, PPM4PSB\n\nTechnical knowledge:\nIn-depth knowledge of diesel and gas engines and systems, for marine, power generation, and industrial applications\n\nKnowledge of electricity markets and requirements including specially energy storage technologies, specifically BESS\n\nTraining in negotiation and sales techniques.\n\nMS Office, Intermediate-Advanced Level, AutoCad, MS Project\n\nLanguages: English - High level spoken and written\n\nProject Management PMP Certification is valuable\n\nInterpersonal skills:\nHigh technical credibility\n\nHigh communication capacity\n\nHigh customer orientation\n\nHigh negotiating capacity\n\nGoal orientation\n\nTeamwork\n\nAttention to detail\n\nPlanning and analysis skills\n\nHigh willingness to learn\n\nPersonal organization\n\nBusiness Vision\n\nWE OFFER\nJob opportunity at a first line company, within an international environment and learning and development possibilities.\n\nPermanent contract.\n\nSocial benefits such as time flexibility, English courses, medical insurance and kindergarten fee through flexible retribution.\n\nMORE ABOUT US:\nOur core values unite us and are at the heart of everything that we do.
