Summary\n\nThe\nProcurement Officer will report to the Procurement Manager and shall support\nthe procurement team with all procurement activities including but not limited\nto:\n\nAssisting with Purchase orders.\nContract drafting and renewal. \nComplete vendor due diligence and creation.\nSupport for tendering exercise. \nSupport in negotiation\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nManage the procurement process from\nrequisition to purchase order issuance.\nRecommend the most suitable supplier(s) to\nProcurement Manager. \nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to\ndetermine purchasing needs and specifications.\nFollow-up for on time delivery.\nMaintain accurate records of purchases,\ncontracts, and supplier performance.\nResolve issues related to deliveries, quality,\nor supplier performance.\nEnsure compliance with applicable governance\nand procedures. \nSupport Procurement team members for tendering\nexercise and negotiation when required. \nAssist Procurement team with data capture and reporting\nwhen needed. \nManage vendor creation and vendor due\ndiligence. \nAssist with any other support required by the\nProcurement team when required. \n\nJob Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in business administration,\nSupply Chain Management, or a related field and/or at least 2 years of\nexperience in procurement. \nStrong negotiation and communication skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving\nabilities.\nAttention to detail and strong organizational\nskills.\nQuick learner \nAble to operate with
