Join our global team and help us make great cinema accessible to everyone, everywhere.\nAbout the Role\nMUBI is seeking a Coordinator who is passionate about cinema to work on our US Communications team. MUBI’s Communications team is responsible for global corporate and consumer communications, film, platform and brand publicity, talent management and awards.\nThe role is based in New York, and will report to the Communications Director, US. The role will work closely with the US Communications team based in New York and Los Angeles, as well as the Global Communications teams based in London. The role will further work with the US Marketing, Distribution, and Content teams as necessary.\nMUBI works hybrid-remote and requires three days in our New York office. Our core days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with the flexibility to use our offices on the remaining two days if you wish.\nWhere you’ll have impact:\nWork day to day with Communications Directors and Managers in NY and LA to manage US release and awards campaigns\n\nAssist with US awards campaigns by maintaining FYC blast calendar, creating invite graphics, and tracking event RSVPs\n\nAssist with US campaigns for MUBI Releases, including press junkets, US festival logistics, premieres, and special events and screenings\n\nWork with UK and Global teams to share screening schedules for release and awards campaigns\n\nWork closely with distribution and marketing teams to brainstorm release and awards campaign ideas\n\nTrack press coverage and send press breaks\n\nBook talent travel logistics and maintain schedules\n\nTrack and send press screener links\n\nSupport with monitoring MUBI’s press inbox and manage US press enquiries, routing appropriately\n\nStaff and check-in awards and press screenings in NY, with support of agencies and NY MUBI team\n\nDevelop press kits with the creative team\n\nProcess invoices and maintain release budgets\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\nPassionate about specialty, international, independent, and documentary films\n\nEnjoys working both independently and as part of a team\n\nStays calm under pressure\n\nStrong written communication skills\n\nAgile and thrives in a fast-paced environment\n\nImpeccable attention to detail\n\nQualifications:\n1-2 years as an intern or assistant in publicity and/or marketing\n\nExperience in entertainment preferred, either at an agency or in-house\n\nWorking knowledge of software such as Google Docs, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp/Constant Contact, and Muck Rack/Cision or other press tracking systems\n\nFluency in English.
