Combined with analyst-led Media Intelligence and advisory services, Muck Rack turns signals into insights and insights into action.\nFounder-controlled and growing profitably and sustainably, we have the freedom to build forward-thinking products, put our customers first, and offer an inclusive culture that welcomes diverse perspectives.\nWe’re looking for a creative, organized and metrics-driven Social Media Manager to join our team and guide social media strategy and content, track and protect Muck Rack’s brand reputation on social media and drive engagement across social media platforms. \nAs our Social Media Manager, your mission will be to develop and execute social media strategies that align with our business goals, monitor and track related conversations on social media, drive engagement and following on social media and report on results.\nYou’ll be a great fit for this role if you have experience developing and executing social media strategies for B2B SaaS brands and executives, have experience with social listening and competitive tracking, employee advocacy and experience with reputation management.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDevelop and execute social media strategy aligned with company goals and campaigns \nDevelop creative and engaging copy for campaigns\nCollaborate with design, communications and marketing team on strategy, measurement and creative execution\nEngage with our community of public relations and communications professionals, journalists and other media-adjacent audience members on social platforms\nMonitor social media mentions, escalate issues and respond in a timely manner\nAnalyze and report on results\nManage social media calendar, publish and schedule posts\nHow success will be measured in this role:\nIncreased engagement and followings across social channels \nSuccessfully planned for and executed social media strategies for key campaigns\nIncrease response rate to customer service inquiries\nIf the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role:\n5+ years professional experience, with as many years of related experience (directly in social media management]) \nProficiency in Sprout Social or similar platform\nComfortable with tools including Muck Rack, Google Analytics\nExperience developing and executing social media strategies for B2B companies (preferably SaaS) for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and X\nData-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics \nExperience with social listening and competitive tracking\nContent creation and copywriting \nCommunication skills (written and verbal) \nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nSelf-starter/ability to work autonomously\nExperience with reputation and crisis management\nExperience with running and optimizing paid social media advertising\nExperience with video production, scripting and editing\nProactively incorporate AI tools into day to day work to improve productively and accelerate delivery\nInterview Overview\nBelow you'll find an outline of the interview plan for this role. As part of our commitment to building strong connections across our fully distributed team, attendance at our annual company offsite (typically held in Mexico) is expected.\nSalary\nIn the US, the base salary for this role is between $97,000 and $120,000+, depending on skills and experience. Total compensation for this role consists of base salary and a quarterly bonus plan. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.\nIndividual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
