This role is about building and scaling the Finance engine behind a global business.\nAs part of the Controllership function, you will work across India, the US, Dubai and Canada, partner closely with senior leadership and business teams, and play a key role in transforming how Finance operates at scale.\nWe’re looking for someone with 5-7 years of relevant experience who can think independently, lead a team, solve complex problems and take initiatives from identification to execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end month-end and year-end financial close process\nDrive financial and management reporting\nOversee balance sheet governance and reconciliations\nDevelop and strengthen accounting policies, controls and compliance processes\nCoordinate with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory stakeholders\nEstablish and monitor revenue, expense and working capital controls\nDrive MIS and business reporting\nBuild and improve Finance processes, systems and governance frameworks\nLead cross-functional Finance initiatives and process improvement projects\nIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of the Finance function\nFinance Transformation and Automation\nWe are building a scalable, technology-enabled Finance function that goes beyond spreadsheets and manual processes.\nYou will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations and Business teams to identify inefficiencies, redesign processes and drive automation.\nThe role involves owning the complete transformation journey:\nIdentify the problem → Design the solution → Implement it → Measure the impact\nYou will be expected to take ownership of this entire process and drive meaningful improvements across the Finance function.\nGlobal Finance Exposure\nExperience working across multiple jurisdictions will be an advantage, particularly across:\nIndia | US | Dubai | Canada\nThe role will provide hands-on exposure to:\nInternational entities and cross-border operations\nMultiple accounting frameworks\nTax and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions\nAuditors and global consultants\nInternational Finance processes and controls\nWhat You Can Expect\nDirect interaction and collaboration with senior leadership\nAn opportunity to build and scale the Controllership function\nOwnership of Finance transformation and automation initiatives\nExposure to multiple international jurisdictions\nCross-functional collaboration beyond Finance\nThe opportunity to solve complex and high-impact business problems\nA high-growth environment where your work will have visible business impact\nWhat We’re Looking For\nYou are a Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of relevant experience and strong fundamentals in controllership and accounting.\nBeyond technical expertise, we’re looking for someone who:\nUnderstands the business behind the numbers\nCan operate independently and make sound decisions without constant direction\nHas experience leading, mentoring and developing teams\nCan take problems from identification through to resolution\nHas a strong control, process and governance mindset\nEnjoys building and improving rather than simply maintaining existing processes\nIs comfortable working with technology and has a strong interest in automation\nCan effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Product, Technology, Data and Business teams\nMaintains high standards of accuracy, integrity and execution\nThe Mindset We Value\nIf you see a broken process, you don’t work around it -
