This means investing in talent, technologies, and tools that empower you to own your career.\nJoin MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.\nRole Summary\nThe Hybrid Virtualization & Private Cloud Engineer is responsible for Implementing, operating, and optimizing enterprise-grade hybrid virtualization platforms across VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Azure Stack HCI, and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization.\nThe role supports mission-critical workloads in regulated enterprise environments, ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and operational efficiency across on-premises and hybrid cloud platforms. The engineer will work closely with regional/global infrastructure, cloud, and security teams, as well as OEMs and vendors.\nThis role operates in the Singapore Time zone.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeploy and operate VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platforms.\nManage Management Domain and multiple Workload Domains.\nOperate and troubleshoot SDDC Manager, vSphere, vCenter, and NSX.\nPerform end-to-end VCF lifecycle management (LCM), including:\nHost commissioning/decommissioning\nPatch management, upgrades, and compliance remediation\nTroubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers\nvSphere & Core Virtualization\nManage VMware ESXi (8.x/9.x) and vCenter Server environments\nConfigure and optimize HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion\nPerform capacity planning, performance tuning, and ensure availability\nHandle VM provisioning, template/content library, and governance\nAzure Stack HCI\nKnowledge of Azure HCI is a plus.\nManage Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D).\nIntegrate Azure Stack HCI with Azure Arc for hybrid management, monitoring, and policy.\nHandle lifecycle management tasks.\nInfrastructure & Hardware Platforms\nOperate and troubleshoot hyperconverged and disaggregated infrastructure such as: \nDell VxRail (HCI) \nDell Power-Flex (SDI) \nDell PowerEdge servers \nCoordinate with OEMs for hardware lifecycle, firmware, and break/fix support \nAutomation & Operations\nDevelop and maintain automation using: \nPower-CLI \nREST APIs (VMware, Azure, Red Hat) \nInfrastructure-as-Code principles \nIntegrate platforms with enterprise tools. \nMonitoring (VMware Aria Operations, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace etc.) \nITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) \nCreate and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and operational documentation \nRequired Skills & Experience\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.\nThe candidate should have over 10+ years of IT work experience\nStrong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) \nExpert knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Aria Suite, SRM\nStrong ownership, operational discipline, and attention to detail \nAutomation / DevOps / GitOps mindset \nDesired / Good to Have\nExperience with: Azure Arc, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery \nExperience migrating workloads between VMware, Azure Stack, and OpenShift \nExposure to container platforms and Kubernetes operations \nExperience supporting APAC regional or global infrastructure environments \nCertifications (Preferred)\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) \nVMware Cloud Foundation Specialist \nMicrosoft Azure Stack HCI or Azure Infrastructure certifications \nRed Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes certifications \nDell VxRail or PowerFlex certifications \nMitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
