To learn more, visit us at www.mufg-investorservices.com.\n We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWSOps) to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our AWS infrastructure and platform services. This role is hands-on and focused on operational excellence, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The engineer will work across a broad cloud environment, supporting service requests, patching, upgrades, release execution, alert triage, project delivery, automation, and security remediation.\nResponsibilities\nPerform system patching, upgrades, and maintenance across AWS services (e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ALBs/NLBs) and container platforms (EKS/ECS).\nOwn service desk tickets to agreed targets, keeping requesters informed through to resolution.\nSupport release cycles with proper change control, rollback readiness, and post-deployment validation.\nTriage and resolve infrastructure alerts (Datadog), contributing to noise reduction and improved observability.\nParticipate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation and incident response.\nManage infrastructure as code, primarily Terraform.\nDeliver assigned engineering projects end to end.\nMaintain runbooks, ticket hygiene, and operational documentation for repeatable processes.\nAutomate recurring operational tasks to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.\nApply security best practices and meet governance and audit requirements across IAM, networking, and resource configurations.\nRequirements\n3-6 years in cloud operations, cloud infrastructure, or similar hands-on roles.\nProficiency with AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB).\nWorking knowledge of Terraform.\nWorking knowledge of container platforms (EKS/ECS).\nStrong Linux and Windows server fundamentals, including Active Directory.\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring and alert tuning (Datadog or similar).\nExperience supporting production environments under ITSM and change control processes.\nStrong troubleshooting, clear communication, and disciplined documentation habits.\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience in regulated environments (e.g. financial services, PCI DSS, SOC).\nExposure to incident management and postmortem practices.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience collaborating in multi-team, shared-responsibility environments.\nWorking Model\nFollow-the-sun support with defined handovers and escalation paths.\nApproximately 1 week on-call every 2 months (after probation).\n What’s in it for you to join MUFG Investor Services?\nTake a look at our careers site and you’ll find everything you’d expect working with one of the fastest-growing businesses at one of the world’s largest financial groups.
