Our team works at the intersection of robotics, automation, and software engineering to optimize warehouse operations and ensure seamless orchestration of robots and industrial equipment.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain WES software to manage warehouse inventory, scheduling, and order fulfillment.\nImplement and integrate drivers for industrial hardware, including robots, conveyors, 3D cameras, sensors, PLCs, AGVs, ASRS, and WMS.\nWork with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and network protocols to ensure system efficiency and low-latency communication.\nEnsure system security by implementing robust encryption and access control mechanisms.\nDesign and optimize high-performance backend services and APIs for seamless integration with third-party warehouse software.\nDevelop and enhance scalable HTTP servers to handle large-scale warehouse operations.\nCollaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to improve system usability and user experience.\nMaintain code quality and testing frameworks to ensure high system reliability.\nOccasionally travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, for deployment and support.\nTackle complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.\nTake on additional tasks related to the above responsibilities as needed.\nMinimum Requirements\nBSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent academic or work experience\nExcellent experience and high proficiency in C++ and Python\nAdvanced Linux user, with excellent experience in Linux software development\nExpert in Linux internals, networking stack, network protocols, routing, async I/O, Docker and its internal workings\nExperience in full-stack development\nTechnical communication skills in English\nPreferable Requirements\nExpert in real-time OS, Linux kernel module development, EtherCAT\nExperience in robotic software development\nAttractiveness\nWe are looking for those who are prepared to dedicate themselves to facing big challenges, work proactively and independently, and take ownership when working with members across the teams!\nYou will get your “hands dirty” working on all aspects of the industrial robot controller, not being confined to a specific component in the system. The work is challenging, mostly like something that you have never done before, requiring extensive research.\nSince the work is widely applicable, it will affect everyone in the engineering team, making the WES & FM team the likely “go-to” people.
