Joining our Compliance team means becoming part of a business that balances innovation with responsibility while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.\nWhat You'll Do\nProvide Trusted Regulatory Guidance\nPartner with stakeholders across the business to provide practical compliance advice.\nInterpret legislation, regulations, licence conditions, directives, and regulatory guidance.\nTranslate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable business solutions.\nSupport new products, customer journeys, business initiatives, and regulatory projects. \nStay Ahead of Regulatory Change\nMonitor emerging legislation and regulatory developments.\nAssess the impact of regulatory changes on products, processes, systems, and controls.\nMaintain regulatory change registers and action plans.\nDeliver concise updates and recommendations to key stakeholders.\nSupport Financial Services Licensing\nAssist with the maintenance of licences and regulatory registrations.\nCoordinate regulatory submissions, renewals, and reporting obligations.\nSupport Key Individuals and representatives in meeting regulatory requirements.\nEngage with regulators and assist with regulatory requests and enquiries. \nStrengthen Governance and Controls\nDraft and review policies, frameworks, standards, and procedures.\nConduct compliance monitoring and testing activities.\nIdentify compliance risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.\nTrack remediation actions and support business stakeholders in closing gaps.\nBuild a Strong Compliance Culture\nAct as a trusted advisor while maintaining independent compliance judgement.\nDeliver compliance training and awareness initiatives.\nCollaborate closely with Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams.\nPromote practical, risk-based compliance principles throughout the business.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience\n3-5 years' experience in financial services compliance, regulatory advisory, legal interpretation, or a related field.\nExperience supporting regulated financial services businesses.\nExposure to compliance monitoring, regulatory change, policy governance, or assurance activities.\nQualifications\nGrade 12 or equivalent.\nRelevant qualification in Compliance, Law, Risk, Finance, or a related field.\nCompliance certifications and FSCA Regulatory Examinations will be advantageous.\nKnowledge & Expertise\nStrong understanding of FAIS/FSP requirements and financial services regulation.\nAbility to interpret legislation and regulatory guidance.\nUnderstanding of compliance monitoring, policy governance, and regulatory reporting.\nI am sure you are reading this job description and meet majority of the criteria BUT you may also still not be 100% comfortable in applying.
