If you're passionate about financial inclusion, customer-focused innovation, and making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDrive Business Growth\nChampion the growth of Mukuru's Insurance offering across assigned markets.\nIncrease customer acquisition, retention, and product adoption.\nWork closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute market growth strategies.\nEnhance customer awareness by ensuring teams effectively communicate product benefits and features.\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen and optimize distribution channels.\nDevelop New Opportunities\nResearch and identify new insurance and value-added service opportunities.\nBuild business cases that support sustainable growth.\nEngage with potential partners and stakeholders to establish strategic relationships.\nLead commercial negotiations and support partnership development.\nLead Projects and Execution\nCoordinate cross-functional projects to ensure successful implementation.\nMonitor project progress, manage risks, and drive accountability.\nCollaborate with Operations, Product, Customer Service, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.\nUnderstand the Market\nStay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity.\nAnalyse customer needs and market dynamics to support informed decision-making.\nIdentify opportunities for innovation and growth.\nSupport Commercial Performance\nContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.\nAssist with pricing reviews and commercial evaluations.\nMaintain strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders.\nWhat We're Looking For\nSkills & Attributes\nStrong business development and relationship-building skills.\nCommercial acumen with the ability to identify and assess growth opportunities.\nExcellent communication and influencing skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nHighly organised with excellent time-management skills.\nSelf-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong networking and stakeholder management capabilities.\nExperience\nExperience in Business Development, Market Development, Sales, Partnerships, or a related field.\nExposure to Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Banking, or Payments is advantageous.\nExperience managing projects and working across multiple stakeholders is beneficial.\nQualifications\nGrade 12 / Matric.\nRelevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.\nI am sure you are reading this job description and meet majority of the criteria BUT you may also still not be 100% comfortable in applying.
