Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end product ownership for core platform modules: submission intake, document extraction, underwriting workflow, and carrier/MGA integrations.
• Author detailed PRDs, extraction specifications, and API contracts that engineers can build from directly, not vague epics that need three rounds of clarification.
• Define and iterate on LLM extraction prompts and multi-pass architectures (e. g., OCR pass + structured extraction pass) in collaboration with engineering.
• Own the submission UX end-to-end LOB selection flows, broker intake forms, fallback states, triage logic, and underwriter-facing dashboards.
• Drive third-party platform integrations including field mapping, schema alignment, and acceptance criteria.
• Run product discovery for new insurance verticals and LOBs, understand the underwriting workflow, identify extraction requirements, and spec the build.
• Engage directly with clients, leading demos, presenting platform capabilities, managing status communications, and translating client feedback into actionable product priorities.
• Define product analytics instrumentation and use data to drive iteration, not just report on it.
• Manage cross-functional delivery across engineering, QA, and US-based business teams with clear communication and minimal handoff friction.
• Contribute to client-facing deliverables, status updates, integration decks, and demo narratives when the situation demands it.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a product management role at a B2B SaaS or platform company.
• Demonstrated experience building AI/ML-powered products you've worked with LLMs, NLP, document understanding, or intelligent automation in production, not just prototyped with an API.
• Hands-on, technical product management style: you can read API docs, write extraction prompts, review database schemas, and hold your own in architecture discussions.
• Daily, habitual use of AI tools in your PM workflow: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or equivalent for research, spec writing, data analysis, and decision-making.
• Strong PRD and spec-writing ability: you produce documents that engineers actually want to read, with clear scope, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with complex workflow products: multi-step processes, state machines, approval chains, or document pipelines (insurance domain is a plus, not a requirement).
• Ownership mindset: you don't wait for perfect information; you make the best decision with what's available, ship, learn, and adjust.
• Excellent written and verbal communication: you can operate across time zones with US-based leadership and translate between business stakeholders and engineering without losing fidelity.
