Working closely with colleagues across Merchandising, Product Development, Commercial and Operations teams, you will help drive informed business decisions through robust planning, reporting and analysis.\nAs an Assistant Planner at Mulberry, you will be passionate about retail, product and data. You'll enjoy working collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of key planning activities, inventory reporting and production planning. You will combine strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset, helping to support business performance and the successful delivery of our collections.\nThis role can be based at either our Somerset, Chilcompton or our London office and operates on a hybrid basis, with colleagues expected to spend three days per week in the office.\nWhat you'll bring\nTo be successful in this role, you'll bring strong analytical capability, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be comfortable working with large volumes of data, translating information into meaningful insights and supporting planning decisions that add value.\nWe are looking for someone who:\nHas advanced Excel skills and strong numerical capability.\nHas 1-2 years' experience within planning, sourcing, buying or merchandising.\nDemonstrates strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset.\nEnjoys building collaborative relationships and partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions.\nCan interpret data and translate analytical findings into clear commercial insights.\nHas excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nTakes ownership, shows initiative and delivers with accuracy and attention to detail.\nCan effectively manage priorities and work to tight deadlines.\nHas the ambition to develop their planning expertise and take on increasing responsibility.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDeveloping production plans by SKU for release, based on commercial requirements and analysis of demand plans.\nCompiling, communicating and monitoring production plans across the business.\nValidating supply and demand to maximise fulfilment across all sales channels and regions.\nSupporting allocation planning for key launches and contingency scenarios where required.\nMonitoring group stock levels and reporting future stock positions to support responsible inventory management.\nManaging the Free-To-Sell model and minimising oversold items through effective stock and shipping prioritisation.\nSupporting special projects and initiatives across product collections and categories.\nPreparing, issuing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reporting for the business.\nDeveloping new reporting and analytical tools to support business requirements.\nMaintaining the integrity of Prima (ERP) and Business Objects data.\nSupporting the wider Planning & Responsible Sourcing team with ad hoc analysis and projects.\nCulture\nEmbrace and demonstrate the Mulberry values and behaviours: honesty, dynamism, and a community-oriented spirit.\nSupport Mulberry to deliver an inclusive culture, through behaving in a way that is open-minded and respectful towards others, and understanding that your views, opinions, and experiences may not always be shared by your colleagues.\nAct as an ambassador for Mulberry and communicate positively about the brand.\nSustainability\nAs a certified B Corp, we are committed to using business as a force for good.
